Happy Birthday to my Favorite Little Man!

July 19, 2010...My favorite little man, my love bug turns 2.
I can't believe that he's so big already, time really does fly by.
There have been periods over the last two years that seemed to last forever, usually the hard times. It was those times that my baby was in casts, or injured, that seemed to drag on and on. But unfortunately the rest seemed to fly by. These last two years have absolutely, without a doubt, been the greatest years of my life. I have experienced more joy and more pain than ever before in my life...and I wouldn't give these years back for anything. In these last two years I have learned a lot about myself, that I do have the strength and love necessary to be a great mama; I've learned that I love my husband more than I can express in words; and I've learned that a baby boy can teach me more than I could have ever imagined. Cayden has the strength, perseverance, and personality of someone well beyond his years. He amazes me with his strength every single day, and I will enjoy watching him learn and grow each day of my life. There is so much I'd like to write here, and my heart is so full of love for this boy, but it's impossible to let it all out. Most of all, I want to say...
Happy Birthday to Cayden...
I love you to the moon and back (and back again a few times!)!

And recreated again at 2 years :-)
He's such a smart, fun-loving boy!

We'll keep on truckin' for another year!

Life These Days...

My life these days looks something like this...

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm so lucky to have a wonderful husband, a happy and so-darn-cute almost 2 year old, and a precious baby girl on the way. And I'm thankful every single day.

*Cayden has officially MASTERED the skill of walking! He is always on the go, and wants to be up on his feet all day long! I am so proud! I think we're all doing well at helping him to be confident as well as cautious while he's learning this very important skill :-)
